Brock Roberts

Brock Roberts is an international director, producer and classical singer.   

Hailing from a small town in the US and now living in Australia, he has had the delight of directing and performing in the USA, Germany, UK, Malta, The United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Australia.   

Brock’s directing credits include Norma (State Opera South Australia), Ride the Cyclone (LASALLE College of Arts, Singapore), Class of Cabaret (Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2023 to 2025), Listen to My Story (Co-Opera, Adelaide), Alice Through the Opera Glass (Victorian Opera, Melbourne), Carmen (Edinburgh Studio Opera, Edinburgh, UK & Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, Llangollen, UK), Venus and Adonis & Actéon (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Birmingham, UK), Orpheus in the Underworld (Teatru Manoel, Valletta, Malta), To Himself, Alone (Tête à Tête: Opera Festival, London, UK), Into the Woods (University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Cardiff, UK) and as associate director, Tosca (Abu Dhabi Festival, UAE). He has also been the assistant director on Parsifal (Victorian Opera), Act III Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg (State Opera South Australia), Ava’s Wedding (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire), The Phantom of the Opera (G&S Society of South Australia), Tosca (Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod) and Werther (Royal Opera House, London, UK). 

As a performer his most notable roles have been Lewis Carroll (Boojum!), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Gherardo (Gianni Schicchi), Johnny Inkslinger (Paul Bunyan), Sam Kaplan (Street Scene), Ko-ko (The Mikado), Gastone (La Traviata) as well as singing chorus in numerous operas.
