Ticketing FAQs
When should I book?
Popular performances can sell quickly, so we recommend booking early to secure your preferred seats and dates.
How will I receive my tickets?
Your ticket delivery method will depend on the event and ticketing provider. Details will be confirmed during checkout and included in your booking confirmation.
Can someone else use my ticket?
Yes. Tickets are generally transferable and may be used by a friend or family member if you are unable to attend.
Do I need to bring identification?
If you have purchased a concession ticket, companion ticket or under 30’s ticket, you will be asked to present valid proof of eligibility when attending the performance.
Fees and charges
Are there booking fees?
Any applicable transaction, processing or delivery fees will be clearly displayed during the booking process before payment is completed.
Fees can vary depending on the ticketing provider and delivery method selected.
We are committed to transparent pricing, so you'll be able to review the total cost of your booking before confirming your purchase.
Exchanges and refunds
Can I exchange my tickets?
Where exchanges are available, requests must be made through the original ticket seller.
Exchanges are subject to:
- Availability of seats
- Any applicable exchange fees
- Payment of any difference in ticket price where the new ticket is more expensive
- If the new ticket is lower in value, a refund of the difference may not be available. Specific exchange conditions may vary depending on the event and ticketing provider.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are generally non-refundable except where required under Australian Consumer Law or the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice.
If a performance is cancelled, significantly rescheduled, or otherwise affected, available options will be communicated to ticket holders in accordance with applicable consumer protections.
I can no longer attend. What should I do?
Contact the original ticket seller as soon as possible to discuss available options. If an exchange is permitted, earlier requests provide the best chance of securing an alternative performance date.
Concessions
Who is eligible for concession pricing?
Concession availability varies by performance.
Where concession tickets are offered, eligible patrons may include:
- Pension card holders
- Full-time students
- Children or young people (Under 30’s)
Eligibility requirements will be listed on the event page.
Do I need proof of concession?
Yes. Valid concession identification may be required:
- At the time of booking
- When collecting tickets
- Upon entry to the venue
If valid proof cannot be provided, you may be required to upgrade your ticket to the full-price rate before admission.
