Eliza, made her first professional operatic appearance at age 12 as Cobweb in Neil Armfield’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the 2021 Adelaide Festival. Since then, she has loved returning to the stage with State Opera South Australia, appearing in La Bohème on the Beach and making her principal role debut as Flora in Stuart Maunder’s production of Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of the Screw.

A passionate and versatile young performer, Eliza has been a familiar face in Adelaide’s theatre community, working with Pelican Productions, Shane Davidson Presents, and Adelaide Youth Theatre. Her favourite roles include Jane Banks in Mary Poppins, Flounder in The Little Mermaid, Davey in Newsies, Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and the title role in Matilda. She first stepped onto a major stage at age 8 as a vocal soloist in the Festival of Music at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, an experience that sparked her love of performing.

In her final year at St Peter’s Girls’ School, Eliza balances her studies in Solo Performance and Music Explorations with singing in Chorale, Enchanté, and the senior jazz ensemble, Esperanza. She has trained in both drama and dance and continues at LJR Dance Academy, where she has competed for many years across styles including contemporary, jazz, and tap. Eliza studies voice with Katrina Ryan and Nick Hedger and is grateful for the ongoing mentorship of Kirsty Roberts. Her musicianship has been recognised with the SA Young Composer Junior Award (2020) and Senior Award (2025).

Eliza is delighted to be back performing with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, and is especially thrilled to be part of this production of Into the Woods as Little Red.
